After a four month planning hiatus, this week TVEC began an updated positive behavior recognition program. Similar to the TVEC magnet recognition, the updated program features the addition of weekly drawings for prizes and monthly drawings for classroom experiences such as pajama day, movie afternoon, or extra gym time. Here's how it works!

Each week for the next five weeks, the students will learn about the letters in PRIDE. P= Politeness and Kindness, R= Respectful Manners, I= Integrity and Honesty, D= Disciplined Learning, and E= Effort in School Work.

When a student is "caught" showing a positive behavior in PRIDE, they receive one card to take home (like the magnets in the past) and one card to place in raffle containers in the cafeteria. On Fridays, Mr. Sell in his green jacket and top hat or a guest will pick five cards from each grade level for a prize from the PRIDE Prize Cart. The last Friday of the month will have an additional classroom experience raffle for two lucky winners and their classes in each grade level. This will be a fun way to celebrate positive behaviors and hopefully encourage more of them here at TVEC!
