#TeacherTuesday: Twin Valley is filled with incredible educators and staff members who are passionate about making our District a fantastic place to learn. We are thrilled to celebrate their achievements in this special series.
Congratulations to Twin Valley High School Educator, Jennifer Koch, on being selected for a James Madison Memorial Fellowship! Named in honor of the fourth president of the United States and acknowledged as “the Father of the Constitution and Bill of Rights,” a James Madison Fellowship funds up to $24,000 of each Fellow’s course of study towards a Master’s degree.
The James Madison Memorial Fellowship award is intended to recognize promising and distinguished teachers, to strengthen their knowledge of the origins and development of American constitutional government, and thus to expose the nation’s secondary school students to accurate knowledge of the nation’s Constitutional heritage. Jennifer is one of just 53 to earn this prestigious opportunity in the 2024 year.
Jennifer plans to earn her degree through Ashland University in Ohio. Additionally, she will have the opportunity to attend the James Madison Fellowships’ month-long ‘Summer Institute’ at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. during the Summer of 2025.

“Mini-THON is an organization that has greatly impacted my life as a leader and community member. Being able to be a part of something bigger than myself is highly rewarding and is something I am truly passionate about. I was inspired to be a Mini-THON Ambassador to reach a bigger community and make an even greater impact on the lives of families. I want to spread my passion for fighting pediatric cancer to those around me and encourage them to join the fight!”-Ashley Siv
Four Diamonds selected Ashley Siv, TVHS Junior at Twin Valley High School as a member of the 2024-2025 Mini-THON Ambassador program. Mini-THON Ambassadors will be the voice of the Mini-THON in their schools and communities by serving as advocates and leaders. They will take their passion for conquering childhood cancer and Mini-THON experience to assist Mini-THON schools through networking events and online platforms.
This year, we’ve successfully raised $61,763 dollars For The Kids throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Led by Ashley Siv and Chelsea Hurley Twin Valley Mini-THON set a record with the Mr. Twin Valley event which raised over $12,000! The Mini-THON Club also works to support the Nolf, Lanza, and Vargas families who are all fighting pediatric cancer.
Congratulations, Ashley! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next year. #RaiderPride
